Founded in 1968 by professional dog breeders, Westland Dog Food Co. is dedicated to advancing the science of animal husbandry and developing a superior premium dog food for use within their kennel. With the philosophy that "only the best will do" they embarked on a selective breeding program that, in time, produced eleven Field Champion dogs. Simultaneously, they consulted with Cornell University canine nutritionists to formulate and manufacture a line of premium dog and puppy foods now known as Ultimate and Ultimate Plus brands.

With new dedication to customer service, our founders began to offer their Best Champion-produced puppies and their premium dog foods to the public and have grown to become one of Michigan's largest pet, pet food and pet supply dealers.

Today's second generation owners continue to follow the traditions of their forefathers, emphasizing customer service and satisfaction, and making puppies more affordable than ever. We have a large selection of registered, purebred puppies available, as well as a variety of hybrid and "designer dogs" such as labradoodles, puggles, cockapoos and more.
